For Information literacy educators.

James Elmborg has an article which entitled "Critical Information Literacy: Implications for Instructional Practice". In his article James has noticed that librarians must focus on information transfer and more on developing critical consciousness in students. In this sense a librarian can be as an educator. He believes that "the lack of precision about what information literacy means has prevented critical judgment about its importance". This article has published in The Journal of Academic Librarianship, Volume 32, Number 2, pages 192-199. Having a glance at it maybe usefull for information literacy Educators.

Cost-benefit analysis!

Cost-benefit analysis is a good way for determining the effect of library and information activities. Unfortunately the most libraries haven't any attention to this factor. By using cost-benefit analysis we can find our productivities in our libraries. We will know if our costs are balanced with our benefits or not. This will help to strategic planning of our libraries. Knowing the cost will help us to benefit planning of our libraries.

Happening new and fast changes in Human Societies have caused establishing new concepts and Challenges for Human being. Appearance and development of new technologies as Internet, Information and Communication Networks, Telecommunications, and appearance of new terms such as Information Society, Network Society, Network Economics, Intelligent Economics, Information Economics, and so on, in Human Society has changed kind and the ways of business and Economics and promote establishing new economic which undoubtedly its characters are different and will affect the whole filed of human life. New economy has great effects on Human life. I am trying to know about the characters of this economy and its effects on information and communication.

Information Literacy!

Information Literacy (IL) is an important issue in Library and Information Science. Some good articles are published in Iran about it. Atane Qodse Razavi (an important organization in Iran) has held a conference on IL. Some presentations was good. I think we sould try to hold such conferences Internationaly. ILISA could have a great role in this area.
